Hello! Welcome to [SQUARES], a print 'n play game based on the classic paper and pen game known as "Dots and Boxes":

Dots and boxes is a pencil-and-paper game for two players (sometimes more). It was first published in the 19th century by French mathematician Édouard Lucas, who called it la pipopipette. It has gone by many other names, including dots and dashes, game of dots, dot to dot grid, boxes, and pigs in a pen.

Use cards to open and close your opportunities to create big scoring plays! Be careful however, if you play it wrong then someone can come in and steal all of your hard earned points!

How do you play?

Playable with 2-4 players, take turns placing down one of the 3 cards in your hand to cover the open (white spaces) with open or closed (grey) spaces.  Make sure to draw after you place!

Once you close a white space, the player who played the card that closed the space gets the points! Continue play until you run out of cards or print some more and keep going!

The person with the highest score wins!

What can you do?

Along with my group of friends and my play test groups, we are trying to nail down the correct amount of cards that combine to anywhere between 36 and 48 cards for a premium print run.
